A Bear Called Paddington

1958 · Postwar Contemporary · Novel

A Bear Called Paddington tells, in eight self-contained chapters, how a small bear from Darkest Peru comes to live with an ordinary London family. Mr. and Mrs. Brown are at Paddington station to meet their daughter Judy, home from school for the holidays, when Mr. Brown notices a bear in a battered, wide-brimmed hat sitting on a suitcase marked Wanted on Voyage.
