Quotation from Summa Theologica by Thomas Aquinas
“Since God is the highest good, He would not allow any evil to exist in His works, unless His omnipotence and goodness were such as to bring good even out of evil”
Summa Theologica, I, Q. 2, Art. 3, Reply Obj. 1, trans. Fathers of the English Dominican Province (1911-1920)
Aquinas answers the argument from evil by citing Augustine's Enchiridion.
