Quotation from Thus Spoke Zarathustra by Friedrich Nietzsche
“Die at the right time: so teacheth Zarathustra”
Thus Spoke Zarathustra, Part I, Discourse XXI: Voluntary Death, trans. Thomas Common (1892)
The opening of a speech praising the 'consummating death' chosen in time, against lingering decline; a key text for discussions of Nietzsche and suicide.
