Quotation from The Tempest by William Shakespeare

“As you from crimes would pardon’d be, Let your indulgence set me free.”

William Shakespeare (spoken by Prospero)

The Tempest, Epilogue (Project Gutenberg #1540)

The play's last couplet asks the audience, as the Lord's Prayer asks God, for the forgiveness they would hope to receive.
